Everything you need to know and do to ensure your child is back-to-school ready!

early childhood

Welcome to a new school year! While summer has offered a chance to rest and recharge, our campus has been anything but quiet. Our hallways have been filled with the energy of teachers preparing classrooms, participating in training, organizing science materials, selecting new library books, and planning meaningful learning experiences for the year ahead. At the same time, exciting improvements are taking shape around our building, including renovations to our front office and the addition of a new flexible STEAM space that will open later this year.

Every detail reflects our commitment to creating an engaging, Christ-centered learning environment where students are known, challenged, and equipped to impact the world for Jesus Christ. We are so grateful for the opportunity to partner with your family and can't wait to welcome our students back for another incredible year at school!

How does drop-off and pick-up work?

DROP-OFF: Supervised back loop drop-off begins at 7:50am for preschool and DK students with older siblings, and 8:00am for all other preschool and DK students. All students should be dropped off and picked up in the back loop. You may use the front parking lot and entrance only if you are walking your child to their classroom at drop-off.

PICK-UP: All children must be picked up in the back loop at dismissal.

For end of day full-day pick-up, a car line will form at the back loop and overflow onto Sinclair Ave. Friendly reminder: please do not park or idle in front of our neighbors’ driveways and always leave room for them to exit.

A NPC staff member with a radio will ask for your child’s name and assign you a colored traffic cone. Pull forward to the designated colored cone where your child will be waiting for you. Please remain in your car as a staff member assist your child into the vehicle. Pull forward to exit the colored cone area, at this point you may get out of your vehicle and assist younger children with seat belts when safe to do so, this keeps the line moving quickly and safely. We’ll load 6 cars at a time inside the coned area.

Please reference our campus parking map for more details and safety reminders.

For end of day half-day pick-up, please utilize the back loop as stated above and form a car line. Staff members will be waiting with half-day preschool students at the back loop and will assist them into your car.

Where can i find the faculty directory?

Our teachers can’t wait to meet you! In the meantime, learn a little about their life outside the classroom and hear firsthand why they thrive at NPC.

You can access the faculty directory at anytime from the drop-down menu on the main NPC website.

What about medication?

If your child needs to take medication during the day, a Medication Authorization Form must be signed on the first day of school in order to administer. Your student’s teacher will have paper copies available. Epipens and Inhalers need to be brought into the office with their original packaging and the student’s name clearly written on it. Due to licensing, the Preschool office can no longer supply Tylenol, Ibuprofen, Tums, and cough drops to preschool and DK students. These OTC meds will also need to be brought in an original container labeled with your child’s name if they should require them.

How can parents get plugged in to the npc community?

NPC parents are welcomed to join Parents in Prayer which meets at 8am at the elementary campus to pray for our children, their friends, classmates, teachers, and administrators! View upcoming dates.
